Based in the town centre of Guildford, Surrey, Kinesis Clinic prides itself on providing the highest quality Osteopathy & injury rehabilitation services. Treatment can include a full diagnostic biomechanical assessment, manual treatment, laser therapy, prescribed exercises and sports specific rehabilitation.

    Osteopath Barry Harpur and director of Kinesis Clinic has been working as a musculoskeletal therapist since 2003. He has a Masters from the British School of Osteopathy and is currently studying for his doctorate at the University of Portsmouth in Sport, Exercise and Health Science. As a research fellow he has been specialising in the advanced study of injury prediction and low back pain screening.

    Barry has always had a passion for injury rehabilitation after suffering from a neck injury at an early age while playing rugby. Since qualifying as an Osteopath he has complete a postgraduate program in Applied Functional Science (AFS) at the world-famous Gray Institute, Michigan, USA. He has also continued to develop his manual therapy skills by completing the Graston Technique® therapy Specialist (GTS) qualification in New York to become the U.K's only GTS scar tissue specialist. An advanced form of instrument-assisted, soft tissue mobilisation to effectively treat the adverse effects of scar tissue and fascial restrictions.

    Barry has also become one of only a few therapists in the U.K. to be registered as full body certified in Active release techniques® (ART). This is a patented, state of the art soft tissue movement-based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. ‘My patients deserve the best and it is my goal to be able to offer reliable, safe, effective and research-based treatments every time. This improves recovery time, helps restore functional and overall pain free movement’.

    As well as offering the gold standard in soft tissue techniques, Kinesis Clinic offers Type 4 laser therapy. Laser therapy has been adopted as an essential pain management tool by clinicians in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, FIFA and Olympic teams.    

  • Zaneta Kwiecien


    Zaneta is passionate about movement and understanding the body in its functional context. She is interested in the individual goal of the patients; whether they exercise on a professional level, are an enthusiastic amateur or just looking for rehabilitation post surgery, accident or long-term injury. Her aim is to provide long-term pain relief, optimise performance levels, help her patients stay injury free and in many cases, return to the level of performance pre-injuries or even stronger.

    With a strong background in biomechanics, this helps her recognise build a bespoke tailored rehabilitation plan using a wide range of services & treatments. Zaneta has completed a Fellowship Of Applied Functional Science at the world-famous Gray Institute, in Michigan, USA. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University (Twickenham, UK) in 2013 and studied Physiotherapy at the Sports Academy (Warsaw, Poland) in 2003.

    Zaneta specialises in two areas of rehabilitation: Pre & Post operative Rehabilitation and Runners Screening and Rehabilitation. Her background is in athletics and she is an active runner, swimmer and cyclist. She is currently training for her first triathlon, which she hopes to compete in next year. Furthermore, she has strong soft tissue therapy skills including Sports Massage, Trigger-point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release, Active Release Techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM), Kinesio and Myofascial Tapping and Medical Acupuncture.

    Hana Dickinson

    Sports Massage Therapist and Sports Injury Rehabilitator BSc (Hons) MBASRaT

    Hana graduated from The University of The West of England, with an honours degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2010.

    Since then, she has worked with a variety of athletes and sports teams, including Leicester Tigers rugby union club and Bristol City Football Academy. Both providing her with an excellent insight into sports rehabilitation and injury prevention, as well as sound skills in sports massage. In 2009, Hana attended the Special Olympics providing massage and sports therapy to athletes with disabilities.

    With a keen interest in providing therapeutic massage and soft tissue therapies she aims to provide a holistic approach in her work, by focusing not only on the problem and symptoms but also the cause. She offers patients methods of prevention and sets realistic goals to avoid future injury.

    Hana continues to focus her efforts in sports massage therapy, working with local sports teams and providing therapeutic massage as a way of relieving everyday related stresses and strains.

    Alongside a background in gymnastics and competitive swimming, she also enjoys skiing, surfing, running, dancing and attending exercise classes. Hana now lives in Guildford with her husband.


    Osteopath M.Ost

    Jason has a Masters in Osteopathy from The London School of Osteopathy, one of the UK's leading providers of Osteopathic education.  He has also completed the Graston Technique®  certification, which he qualified in New York, becoming a certified practitioner (GTP) a therapy using instrument- assisted  soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM) to treat where formation of scar tissue and fascial restrictions occur. He is also experienced in manual soft tissue treatment therapy.

    As well as treating patients in clinic of all ages presenting with back, joint and other musculoskeletal injuries, Jason has a keen interest working with elite athletes, specialising in sport injuries and preventative treatment which includes exercise rehabilitation. Having worked within Elite athletics, providing trackside support and osteopathic treatment across a number of disciplines in particular sprinters, hurdlers, allowed him to work with athletes representing Great Britain. Jason has also worked within contact sports, including Rugby and Martial arts.  Currently he is working with the England National Karate Team providing Osteopathic treatment and medical support during National and International competitions and training camps.

    Jason’s goal is to provide treatment to help patients recover as quickly and safely as possible, so they can return back to the activities they enjoy. As well as providing treatment and rehabilitation for acute injuries, Jason also treats long term chronic conditions that require management to help prevent relapses /reoccurring injuries and pain.

  • Rebecca Smith

    Sports Massage Therapist and Sports Injury Rehabilitator BSc (Hons) MBASRaT

    Rebecca is a Sports Therapist, who qualified with a first class honours degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire.

    During her degree, she obtained invaluable experience in her sports massage therapy, treating a variety of injuries, ranging from rugby too professional horse racing jockeys and professional squash players.

    Rebecca has a passion for helping others and getting them back to sport and exercise, through goal setting and fixing the cause of injuries as well as the initial injury itself. She has developed a love for participating in sport, especially dance and equestrian disciplines.

    Rebecca is currently furthering her soft tissue knowledge and experience by adding IASTM (Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation) to her treatments. This enables her to work specifically on conditions such as tendonitis, scar tissue and fascial adhesions. Originally from Wales, Rebecca now lives in Jacobs well Surrey.

  • Lightforce® laser therapy is a non-invasive technique to help reduce pain and inflammation. Laser therapy can be safely used as an adjunct or replacement for many pharmaceutical drugs that are used to elevate soft tissue injuries.
