Barry has been working as a musculoskeletal therapist since 2003. He has a Masters in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy and is currently studying for his doctorate at Portsmouth university in Sport, Exercise and Health Science. As a research fellow he has been specialising in a rigorous program of advanced study into injury prediction and low back pain screening.

Barry has always had a passion for injury rehabilitation after suffering from a neck injury at an early age while playing rugby. Since then he has gone on to complete the postgraduate program in Applied Functional Science (AFS) at the world-famous Gray Institute, Michigan, USA. He has also continued to develop his manual therapy skills by completing the Graston Technique® therapy Specialist (GTS) qualification in New York, an advanced form of instrument-assisted, soft tissue mobilisation to effectively treat the adverse effects of scar tissue and fascial restrictions as well as improve and maintain optimal range of motion.

Barry has also become one of only a few therapists in the U.K. to be registered as full body certified in Active release techniques® (ART) a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement-based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.‘My patients deserve the best and it is my goal to be able to offer reliable, safe, effective and research-based treatments every time.
